What do you think makes America great? For me, it’s the Bill of Rights, especially the First Amendment:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
Whether we walk in dark times or in times of hope, may we always hold on to what is good.

I think I’ll have the First Amendment tattooed on my arm . . . those words are the best and the very essence of what being American is supposed to mean. Your photos capture an innocence that seems hard to find these days.
I try to remind myself that innocence exists in the midst of innocence lost. And I love you for wanting that tattoo. 😉
We could get matching ones. 😉
😏
Your voice is needed those days!
One advantage of age is you have seen intolerant times come and go and you have a bit of hope that they will go again.
