I am the mother of Suzanne and John and second-tier mother to their spouses, Erik and Meran. I live in the Greater Boston area and worked as an editor in the city until retiring in 2016. My interests include family, the arts, world affairs, the environment, poetry, support for disadvantaged people, and books. Like my husband, I have loved theater since I was a child. I also spent years writing theater reviews. Nowadays, I volunteer as an assistant English as a Second Language teacher at refugee agencies.
The first photo was taken by Suzanne at my older grandson’s second birthday. Here he is taking time out from the games and the bluegrass band to meet his baby cousin. The second photo shows me with my first granddaughter, my husband, and two growing grandsons on Mother’s Day 2013. A 2015 photo is of my second granddaughter. And the latest one shows us all together.

Very kind of you, even though I’m not into awards that much. I like your blog.
Hello,
I was looking for information on Lucille Corcos and found your blog. I think I know you. As a teenager, too, knew Joel Levy and have been to his family’s home. I enlarged your picture and am pretty certain you look like my dear friend from way back in kindergarten.
Joan
Cooper?
I am sorry to inform you that my cousin Joel Levy died this past December 25. Although Joel has been in diminishing health over a few years, his death is a sad blow to everyone in the family.
Oh, I am sorry. Thank you so much for finding me. Could you email suzannesmom@lunaandstella.com to remind me how you are related to him. Through Edgar?
I love your blog.
Lily Ann
Golly, thanks!
Wait a minute, Lily Ann! Didn’t you use to have a different last name? I am a little slow on the uptake.
