Remember this post on paper sculptures of dragons and other animals left surreptitiously at libraries in the UK?
Well, I thought you might like this post from WordPress blogger Tokyo Bling. It features paper dragons by Siryu. More pictures here, with explanations for readers who speak Japanese.
And here’s yet another origami artist at work on a dragon.

Wow! I like the time-lapse video.
That dragon is composed of many repeating origami units, which is the way lots of complicated paper ball decorations are made (I learned how to make one–a relative simple one, but it took **lots** of origami paper and ended up like a Dungeons & Dragons multisided die.
Even more breathtaking can be some of the creations made from a single piece of paper, folded. the image here, for instance, is made from one piece of paper with no cutting. Amazing, huh!
Oh, wow!
