We turned on the heat and started wearing warm coats. (I’m even wearing gloves and earmuffs in the early morning, but don’t tell anyone.)
I think it’s time for a round-up of late summer scenes in New England before the snow flies.
First come two pictures illustrating the Providence claim to fame as Creative Capital. Then shy mushrooms. Next are four photos from New Shoreham, including horses and a turtle who really hoped I’d just go away.
Moving right along: lovely shadows and fall colors in field and farmstand.
QUITE A COLLECTION HERE! 🙂
We do love our seasons in New England.
You make me remember nice automne days in Rhode Island. Thanks
Everyone was afraid the summer drought would mean few autumn colors, but I have been seeing some beautiful trees lately.
Love the tree shadows, turtle, colorful stone wall, and early autumn produce!!!
I take a walk every day, a slow walk. And I bring along the camera. Many of the scenes are the same day after day, but I’m always hoping to see them differently.
How lovely! I’ve been away, as you could probably figure out, and have been driving around New England, seeing similar scenes. What a glorious autumn we’re having!
I will be reading up on your recent adventures. Missed you.
